FAQ ABOUT ALD RELEASE

What is used car leasing?
Used car leasing is the leasing of a used car, in our case our product ALD Release which is available for both companies and individuals and in two different leasing formats; ALD Release Basic and ALD Release Plus.

What is a used car?
With ALD Release you are leasing a car that is not brand new, which means that the car may have some wear and tear and performance may have been affected. However, what all ALD Release cars have in common is that they are carefully selected from returned lease cars, in good condition with a full service history.

What is the difference between ALD Release Basic and ALD Release Plus?
ALD Release Basic contains only the car and the contracted kilometers per year.

ALD Release Plus includes not only the car, which you can drive contracted kilometers per year, but also insurance, new tires in case of normal wear and tear, tire change, inspection, service and repairs (in case of normal wear and tear). All car-related costs are collected on one monthly invoice, including the administration of other car-related costs such as congestion taxes.

Whether you choose ALD Release Basic or ALD Release Plus, you only need to return the car at the end of the contract. You don’t have to think about the resale value of the car, but can instead choose your next Release car. As a customer, you do not have to worry about the development of the second-hand market during the contract period. A fixed interest rate means you don’t have to worry about unforeseen increases.

What is the shortest time to sign a contract?
The leasing contract is signed for 24 months with free termination after 12 months.

What is included in the fixed monthly cost?
The ALD Release Basic includes:

  • Car
  • 10 00 kilometers per year (extendable to 20 000 and 30 000 kilometers per year)
  • Free termination after 12 months

ALD Release Plus includes:

  • Lease rental incl. operating agreement, insurance, inspection, service and repairs for normal wear and tear and wear parts
  • Summer and winter tires incl. seasonal changes
  • 10 000 kilometers per year (extendable to 20 000 and 30 000 kilometers per year).
  • Free termination after 12 months
  • All car-related costs on one monthly invoice, including the administration of other car-related costs such as congestion charges.

Whether you choose ALD Release Basic or ALD Release Plus, you only need to return the car at the end of the contract. You don’t have to think about the car’s resale value or worry about developments in the second-hand market during the contract period.

How many kilometers can I drive per year?
This is agreed at the start of the contract. It includes 10 000 kilometers per year, but you can also sign a contract for 20 000 or 30 000 kilometers per year. You cannot buy extra kilometers during a contract. It is most advantageous to buy extra kilometers at the start of a contract and the cost is spread over your monthly invoice. Ask your salesperson for a quote for the distance you expect to drive per year. Any extra kilometers when returning the vehicle will cost 10 SEK/km including VAT.

Do I dare sign a leasing contract now given all the talk of interest rate increases?
ALD Release is based on a fixed interest rate, which means that the monthly price you sign a contract for is the monthly price that will apply for the entire duration of the contract, regardless of how much interest rates may increase in the meantime.

Can I change my car during the contract period?
No, not before 12 months (without a termination fee). After 12 months, you have free notice and can effectively cancel and sign a new contract.

Which cars can I lease?
All those that are published on aldbil.se and have a green price tag with a published monthly price.

Is it possible to transfer the contract to someone else during the contract period?
No, ALD does not allow the transfer of the Release to another party during the contract period.

Which terms and conditions apply?
You can find all terms and conditions here.
